Terms of Service

Last updated: August 8, 2026

1. Who we are

Algomy ("the Service") is operated by Garrett Lucas, an individual sole proprietor (referred to as "we", "us", or "the seller"). By using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you confirm that you accept these terms and that you have the authority and legal capacity to do so.

3. Description of the Service

The Service provides AI-powered business assistants, knowledge base management, conversation history, and related tooling delivered as software-as-a-service.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service. Specifically, you agree not to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
  • engage in fraud, spam, phishing, or abusive behavior;
  • infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights of any third party;
  • attempt to interfere with security, probe, scan, scrape, or introduce malware; or
  • reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service without written permission.

5. Account credentials

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

6. Intellectual property

All rights, title, and interest in the Service (including software, documentation, and branding) remain the property of Garrett Lucas. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your selected plan.

7. Content you provide

You retain ownership of content and data you upload. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to provide the Service to you.

8. Payment, billing, and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscription plans renew automatically until canceled.

9. Refunds

See our Refund Policy.

10. Service level

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet every requirement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

11. AI outputs

The Service uses generative AI models to produce responses. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for regulated professional advice (legal, medical, financial). You are responsible for reviewing and verifying outputs before relying on them. Do not use the Service to generate unlawful content, deepfakes, harassment, or malware. We reserve the right to remove content, filter outputs, or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete associated data after a reasonable export window.

13. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or special damages (loss of profits, data, or goodwill), except where such exclusion is not permitted by law.

14. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
